Sometimes the veins on the back of our hands can protrude - significantly more during or post exercise and in hot weather. These can become unsightly but can be eliminated with Sclerotherapy.

Sclerotherapy is proven to be an effective way to achieve smooth, youthful hands. Treatment involves a series of injections of a sclerosant with a very fine needle.

Compression gloves need to be worn for a week following treatment to minimise bruising. There may be some trapped blood which remains in the treated veins, this can present a lumpy appearance. If left alone this will subside naturally. However, it is possible to remove the blood with a small needle.

This treatment gives an excellent cosmetic outcome but the finer results can take a few treatments to achieve.
